AI room generators

  1. A picture of a nice room is not a plan. Someone has to choose real pieces that work together, in your room.

  2. A sofa ten centimetres too long can block a door or a radiator. Your designer checks every piece against your own tape measure.

  3. You set the budget in your brief, and the shopping list is built to it, piece by piece.

  4. Every link on your list goes to something you can order and have delivered in Amsterdam.

  5. You know the price before you start, and it does not grow with the hours.

  6. Two of your own photos with the chosen pieces in them, so you can picture it before you buy anything.

Is the furniture included?

No. You pay for the design. You buy the pieces yourself, from the shops on your list, at your own pace.

Who are the designers?

Emerging, independent interior designers. We approve every designer and their portfolio before they can take on a room.

Does AI design my room?

No. Your designer chooses every piece and where it goes. We then use AI to show those pieces in two of your own photos. The pictures are an impression; the shopping list is what you buy.

How long does it take?

You have 5 days to send your photos and measurements. Your designer accepts within 48 hours and delivers within 7 days of starting. We check every first design before you see it.

When do I pay, and can I cancel?

You pay when you book. By card, we place a hold and only take the money when your designer accepts. By iDEAL, it is taken straight away and refunded in full if no designer takes your room on. You can cancel by emailing us: before your designer accepts you get everything back, and once they have started we keep half for the work done.

What if I do not like the design?

One round of changes is included: comment on any piece or picture and your designer revises it. If something is still wrong after that, email info@handpickd.nl.

Can I keep some of my furniture?

Yes. With a Room Refresh your designer works around the pieces you are keeping and chooses new ones to go with them. You tell us what stays when you send your photos.

Which rooms can you do?

One room per project: a living room, bedroom, dining room, home office, kitchen, or a studio or one-room flat. Something else? Tell us in your brief.
